This holiday season is a great time to teach your preschoolers about the act of giving and allowing them to participate in it as well. By creating sweet and simple gifts for family members, grandparents, teachers, etc., children can learn what it means to express love and kindness through the act of giving.
Gift giving with preschoolers might seem like a daunting task, as is finding the perfect present for anyone of any age. Successfully picking the perfect present for your preschooler to give to their loved ones entails two things; simplicity and sentimentality.

Homemade Cards
Nothing says “I love you” more than a crafty homemade card! This is where the simplicity comes in. Have your preschooler make it personal to whoever is receiving it by adding a special note, fun stickers, or even a few photos.
DIY Ornaments
If your preschooler chooses to gift an ornament crafted personally by them, there are many options as to how to execute the task! It can be as simple as construction paper and string or salt dough, or a trip to a crafting goods store might do the trick.
Picture Frames
What’s cuter than your preschooler gifting a picture frame she decorated herself? Gifting a picture frame with a picture of her in it! Decorate with cute buttons and preschooler-friendly items, but don’t let it distract from the cute face in the picture.
